The Sustainable Home Survey Company C.I.C. (“SHS”) is a community interest company, formed in autumn 2011 by Sustainable Ventures. Recent funding enables SHS to complete 5,000 home energy efficiency assessments across local communities in Midlands and South Eastern England during January – June 2013.
SHS is now recruiting an experienced sales manager looking for an exciting entrepreneurial opportunity to develop its householder sales pipeline.
SHS household surveys identify a range of energy efficiency measures that can be implemented by households. For each measure identified SHS has supplier / installation partnerships (“sponsors”) it would be the responsibility of the successful candidate to maintain existing relationships and generate new sponsorship partnerships.
The successful candidate will be expected to create and manage the development of the sales pipeline, strategic sales approaches, and will be responsible for delivery of follow up sales calls. There will be an emphasis on the switching of households’ energy supply across to deals that offer them cheaper energy with alternative energy companies.
The interim contract will run from January – June 2013 with a minimum commitment of 5 days/wk required. Subject to the success of the project and the candidate, the role has the potential for full time opportunities on completion.
Previous sales experience is a must, and experience within the energy or utility sector a plus. Knowledge of domestic energy efficiency and renewable technologies is an advantage but not essential.
